The HITSMOBILE Data SIM Card is the ideal SIM card for surfing the Internet at extremely low cost in Spain. Of course you can also use this SIM in your smartphone / iPhone (and make calls via Skype, WhatsApp etc.). Tethering (mobile hotspot) is expressly allowed.

HITS MOBILE is a classic prepaid SIM and always rechargeable and thus reusable during the next Spain vacation.

Important notice

Due to the Spanish legislation (Ley 25/2007) mobile customers are obliged to identify themselves with a valid document. Therefore, an upload of the passport, identity card or the Spanish NIE must be carried out as part of the activation. The document needs to be oploaded on our Activation Page. After uploading our identification document, we will start the activation with the provider. This takes a maximum of 24h and you will be notified by e-mail as soon your SIM card has been activated.

How does the mobile internet work?

An internet start bonus is already available on this SIM card. When ordering, you indicate from which date your new HITS MOBILE Data SIM Card should be activated. From this date, the mobile internet will be available for the next 30 days.
In your mobile device you only have to enter the APN data.

How do the top-ups / reloads work?

With each charge, you can decide anew WHICH Internet Bono you want to reload. An Internet Bono is always valid for 30 days from activation. The following plans are available and can be topped up on HERE from 14,90€ plus 4,90€ service charge.

Only restriction with HITS MOBILE:

With HITS MOBILE you can max. Charge 2 internet bono every 30 days. So max. 40 GB every 30 days (20 GB + 20 GB). But that should be more than enough for 99% of all our customers.

Pin & Puk?

You will receive the HITS MOBILE “INTERNET-SIM” with the associated PIN and PUK. The Spanish telephone number for the SIM will be sent to you on the day of activation by e-mail and SMS.

Mini-, Macro- or Nano Sim?

You will receive your new HITS MOBILE SIM card as a state-of-the-art TRIPPLE MODE SIM. This means you can print the SIM out of the large plastic card in any format you want. Just as you need the SIM. As MINI-MICRO or NANO-SIM.

SMS & Incoming Calls

The usage of SMS is actually forgotten in the age of WhatsApp & CO, because still very expensive.
The following prices apply to HITS MOBILE (as of May 15, 2019):

● Receiving SMS is always free.

However, you will receive with this SIM a Spanish telephone number which you can call in Spain (free of charge for you). 

Internet speed. How fast is the HITSMOBILE Data SIM Card?

HITSMOBILE provides extremely fast UMTS (3G), HSPA + (3.5G) and LTE (4G). Practice has shown that you can expect in real mobile with 7.2 – 42.2 Mbps in the 3G and 3.5 G net mobile (depending on the area and your mobile device). In the LTE network you can reach up to 150 Mbps down & 75 Mbps up.

Does the HITSMOBILE Data SIM Card also have ROAMING?

Yes, this SIM has regulated EU roaming.
But at this point clearly: this is a SPANISH prepaid SIM and a guaranteed functionality exists only for Spain. In addition, the FAIR USE PRINCIPLE must be respected here, which entitles every mobile service provider to restrict or prevent roaming. (Excessive use in roaming, for example, or more MB used in roaming than in Spain)

Are there any restrictions?

Some providers block certain mobile Internet services such as TETHERING (mobile WiFi hotspot), SKYPE, WHATSAPP, VOIP, FACEBOOK, etc. What about this SIM card? There are no restrictions. TETHERING (mobile WiFi hotspot) is allowed out of the box. And there are no blocked APPs. Skype, VOIP, VPN, FTP, P2P and even file sharing work with this SIM without limitation.

How often to I have to charge/reload to avoid that the HITS MOBILE Data SIM Card expires?

Unlike in Germany or UK  in Spain (without exception) ALL prepaid SIMs expire  if they are not reloaded at regular intervals. Every Spanish mobile service provider has its own rules. Your HITS Mobile Data SIM Card must be recharged every 3 months with at least 5 euros.

Those who are not enough for these 3 months between recharges can extend this to 12 months if they wish. You can reuse this SIM every year in Spain holidays.
